Production 2 -Shooting Locations

 Shooting Locations:

My goal is to have shots moving at a quick pace to build suspense, include a lot of jump cuts to different angles in order to keep the audience at the edge of their seats. 

Locations:

School- Classroom & Hallway 

Hospital Front

Car 


    Considering i am an online student- i can't film on campus during school hours, and i'm not sure how i would get it done after school hours considering my film needs shots of a school in session as well as school out of session in order to demonstrate the contrast before and after the horrid of the virus. As of now my idea is to get shots at my old school since my friends are all in person kids and could possibly assist me with getting shots of classrooms. If that's not possible i'm going to have to alter the storyboard although it does really make the plot more suspenseful. 

    For my other scenes in the car and at the hospital front- i'm planning on getting those done this upcoming week considering I can use my car- and the hospital is within walking distance from my home making it quite simple for me to get whatever shots I need, while making sure to stay as safe as possible around the hospital due to the current conditions of all the patients staying there. 

    For the car scenes i'm planning on having my actors- (who i'm still yet to confirm) sit in the car and drive around in my neighborhood in order to follow the plot i've created while still making sure the lighting and time of day is perfect.

        I am aiming to shoot in the morning in attempt to keep a softer blue lighting so it's easier to complete color correcting in post production.

 Peer Review       After sharing my final project with my peers I got super helpful feedback. As well as a lot of compliments! I appreciated everyones positive and critical comments considering they all helped me look at my film in different point of views, especially as the audience.      To start off one of my peers made a comment about the audio in one of the final scenes of my film. I realized that the audio was a bit busy, considering there was a bit of background noise so I made sure to tone that done in the timeline. As well as another student, who noticed another sound issue. She noted that there had seemed to be an overlapping of sound in the beginning of my film where I had a clock ticking noise playing in order to build suspense.   To Team or Not to Team After lots of solid  research  and thinking I've decided it would be best to work  in a team for  my  final project.  Not only do my partner and I  both   work  better in  groups but  working in teams have many benefits.  Such as learning and acquiring new s kills such as Problem solving, decision making, Communication Skills,  and Organizing and Planning Skills.      In  the “Lost at sea” assignment we completed in class we worked on our own to try and make a  list of  order of importance of items one might need to surviv e lost a t  sea.
