Production 1-Casting Needs

 Casting Needs: After i've pretty much come to conclusions on how my film is going to be laid out, casting/ recruiting people to play or "act" as the few characters I need has been circulating in my mind.  I need to have several background people as well as four two-four individuals for the "main characters"/ "family", and one character to play who's described as the "crazy women" in the opening scene. I have the idea to ask my friends and family first, considering they all love to do these types of projects in their free time and don't see it being an issue for any of them.  Although usually film directors look for/ cast individuals who perfectly fit a description- anyone would work for my film considering my goal is to try and portray as best as I can a normal or realistic film. UPDATE: Since my  concept refinement not much has changed besides the expansion of ideas . As well as the fact that I am no longer working with a partner, due to her personal  circumstances, she has been unenrolled from the class. M oving forward the  film   is going to be completed solo.     After spending a good amount of time brainstorming my idea, I got to work on executing it.  Personally,  I've never worked with storyboards or planning  processes  like th ese ,   so it  creat ed  more of a  difficult   experience for me.   In the article “ Storyboard your way to success”  the author,  James M.
